The result has been a rethinking of this website and its assorted blogs and pages.
We've started another blog, as you can see: "OUT AND ABOUT: When Tail Wags Dog" so I can share the stories I love to tell about my life and travels.
And for this blog, "AN ACOUSTICAL LIFE: Unplugged in Paradise," we've been thinking on how to expand it to include more than just the art projects involving plant fibers. Our art play has always been more than that.
Scientific studies have shown that working 10,000 hours at a set of skills in a focused and progressive way will allow you to gain a certain mastery of those skills. Our own empirical explorations have shown us that doing the 10,000 hours to nail down one set of skills also seems to open your head to the possibility of mastering other sets of skills faster. You build on the time and effort you've already put in. "This is a cool thing," as Netta would say.
We don't know where we're going with this. We sure are having fun....Hope you do too. (Tell us your thoughts about it, please.)
